Service Description
This intensive theory course is for customers preparing for the NZ Learner Licence, or eligible customers completing an Overseas Licence Conversion — Step 1 of 2 (Theory). Learn the New Zealand road rules and prepare for the theory test required for your licence pathway in a single intensive Saturday programme. Training is held at Otara Library. Course fee is NZ$250 including GST. Official driver-licensing application and theory test fees are separate.

Cancellation Policy
DriveStar bookings are subject to our Terms & Conditions and Changes, Cancellations & Refunds Policy. Please request changes or cancellations at least 7 days before the affected booking or course start. With 7 or more days' notice, DriveStar will normally reschedule without a DriveStar fee and, for a cancellation before the service starts, normally refund DriveStar service fees less any irrecoverable third-party amount already committed on your behalf. Late changes, same-day cancellations, missed sessions and no-shows may result in a reasonable rebooking/cancellation amount or the affected session being treated as used where reserved capacity cannot reasonably be reallocated. Genuine emergencies are considered individually. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
